Come, let us have some tea and cake, and talk about happy things.
At Florence and George, we love all things cake. Talking about it, designing it, baking it, sharing it - and eating it! And if you're going to have cake, then you'd better have a cuppa too. Combine that with a love of anything pretty and vintage, and Florence and George was born. We think that sitting around a table with friends and family, lots of good things to eat and drink, and pretty things to eat and drink them from, is definitely one of the nicest ways to spend an afternoon. The Danish call it hygge - we love that feeling of cozy contentment it gives you, and that's exactly what we try to create with our vintage afternoon tea parties.
But it's not just about afternoon tea - we can create special cakes for any occasion. The one thing you're unlikely to find on our cakes though is a pile of fondant icing. That's because we think cakes should taste fantastic as well as looking great. So real vanilla buttercream, rich chocolate ganache, salted caramel drizzle and cream cheese frosting are all here in spades, along with lots of other scrumptious toppings and fillings. No inch thick fondant in sight!
The boring bit...
We know, cake is never boring, right? This section has some important information though - have a cuppa while you're reading it and we promise we'll make it quick!
Delivery and collection
Delivery and set up is included in all of our afternoon tea packages in Dunfermline and within a 10 mile radius. Also included in the afternoon tea packages is the collection of the vintage crockery and other equipment on the day after your event.
